Completely Ethernet compliant, and supporting true 10Mbps throughput, the JVC Wireless LAN Kit is the perfect solution for a range of facility and LAN installation requirements. Frequently changing office floor plans, older buildings, temporary or new staffing requirements or locations, manufacturing facilities or warehouses, are just a few examples where the JVC Wireless LAN Kit can be utilized for LAN connectivity.

Utilizing Infrared Wireless Technology, the JVC Wireless LAN Kit provides flexible connectivity at the same speed and performance as a standard wired 10BASE-T cable connection. No special software, gateways or protocol setup are required. Unaffected by electro-mechanical interference, data transmission is safe and secure.

The JVC Wireless LAN Kit is comprised of 2 Station units and accompanying "T-Adapter" connectors which provide power to the units. One Station Unit is connected directly to the existing LAN backbone. The second Station, connected directly to a PC's network card or a standard hub supporting multiple users, can then be remotely positioned to establish the direct wireless connection to the network.

The JVC Wireless LAN Kit is priced at $955 per Station and $45 for each T-Adapter, and is available through authorized distributors and resellers.
